AAaaaaaahhgghh!

So I apologize profusely for not having updated anything much lately. I know, I suck. It's been a few months and I still haven't gotten another art program I really like yet. Since I lost Open Canvas 4.06 when I got my new computer, I haven't been able to find another place to download it. I got OC 4.5e Plus, but it's not as good, and my trial on it ran out, so now I can't save anything in that program(and I've been screenshotting all of my artwork in it to save elsewhere, discouraging me from doing any pictures of decent size).
I downloaded a trial of Paint Tool SAI, and the lineart is decent but I don't like any of the brushes for coloring. I don't even have photoshop on this computer(except for the free Elements 3.0 that came with my old wacom. I installed it even though it's actually too old and not compatible with my smexy new harddrive, le sigh. So it screws up a lot).

Yeah, yeah. Woe is me and my brand new state of the art computer. Alas, if I could do better work on the old p.o.s. one, I'd take it back in a heartbeat. ...Or, at least, like, once a month, I might hit it up like an old friend/familiar prostitute?

Um...yeah. So even though I know nobody replies to my journals, any suggestions on good, free art programs? Preferably something I can do my comic in + any other artwork I feel like?

I'll toss in an incentive: If you recommend a program to me that doesn't suck to high heaven, I'll do you a free commission in it. Of whatever you want. I don't care. Even if it's weird or whatever. Because I'll love you. Just give me something to do.
